System planning

System planning

The planning of your centralized lubrication system begins with a detailed analysis of the lubrication points. This involves identifying all machine components that require continuous lubrication, such as guideways, ball screws, spindle bearings and gears. Based on the operating conditions, we recommend the optimum lubricant and the most suitable lubrication method.

The analysis is followed by the design of the system. The required lubricant quantities are calculated and the appropriate pumps, distributors and lines are dimensioned. In machine tools, single-line, dual-line or progressive distributors are often used to transport the lubricant precisely to the lubrication points. It is crucial that each lubrication point is reliably supplied with the correct quantity.

The system control is then adjusted and integrated. LUBE centralized lubrication systems can be controlled fully automatically and can also be connected to the CNC control of your machine on request. The control system not only ensures automatic compliance with the defined lubrication cycles, but also monitors the correct lubricant flow thanks to various control mechanisms. This allows faults to be detected at an early stage and maintenance costs to be minimized.

After installation, each LUBE centralized lubrication system is tested and optimized. The lubricant distribution is checked and fine adjustments are made to avoid over- or undersupply.
