Talent Award 2025

Who can participate?

Apprentices and students worldwide who distinguish themselves within their company or university through

exceptional professional achievements (e.g. improving a product or process), or
outstanding social engagement (e.g. supporting colleagues or fellow students in an inclusive and caring way).

Accordingly, the Kazumi Steffens Award is presented in two categories: one for Professional Excellence and one for Social Responsibility.

Who can nominate?

Anyone from the professional, academic or personal environment of the candidate – the only exception is that self-nominations are not permitted.

How does it work?

It’s simple: just use our nomination form (see below) to briefly explain why your candidate deserves the Kazumi Steffens Award 2025, enter your contact details, and submit – that’s it!

When does the nomination period run?

Nominations for this year’s award are open until 30 November 2025.

What is there to win?

The Kazumi Steffens Award 2025 carries a prize of €500 in each of the two categories mentioned above.

Who makes the decision, and when?

The winners are selected by a jury of long-standing companions of our founder, Ms. Kazumi Steffens. The announcement of the awardees will take place in December 2025, both in person and via our website and social media channels.

The “Kazumi Steffens Award 2025” is organised by KAA-Europa GmbH.

Eligible to participate (or to be nominated) are trainees and students of any discipline who, at the time of application, are enrolled at a recognised training institution or university. Participants may be nominated by any person from their professional, academic, or private environment – self-nominations, however, cannot be considered.

Applications must be submitted no later than 31 October 2025 (11:59 p.m.) and exclusively via the online nomination form at www.lube-europe.com/de/ueber-uns/talent-award. Late submissions will not be considered. The winners will be selected by a jury according to pre-defined criteria. The prize money of €500.00 per category is non-transferable and will be paid exclusively by bank transfer.

The personal data collected will be used solely for the purpose of carrying out the competition (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR) and will be deleted after the conclusion of the competition, at the latest by 30 November 2025.

Legal recourse is excluded.
